A local property developer required one of her 3 bedroom houses on a development of 8 to be furnished and dressed to entice buyers. The development was between some old bungalows and the back of an office but needed to command a decent sale price.
We provided neutral furnishings and accessories that made the most of the L-shaped kitchen/dinning/living room, allowing for enough space for entertaining 6 dinner guests and arranging the reception furniture to make the most of the view of the garden. Two double bedrooms were furnished and dressed with the other shown as a home office/reading room. Front windows facing the older style bungalows were dressed to ‘soften’ the view so that all the positive features of the property were emphasised. The front of the house and the back garden were enhanced using large feature plants in ceramic planters, gaining kerb appeal and to giving the back garden some visual interest.
For a small initial investment, several sales were achieved shortly afterwards (for the asking price) based on the buyers reaction to the show home we created. Furnishing and Dressing the empty property enabled them to see it as a home and visualise themselves living there.
