An existing client who had commissioned an office design and refurbishment project in 2004, wanted to return to America after a couple of years in a London company. He planned to rent his flat out to keep it as an investment in the UK.
The location was good as it was just off a main route into the West end of London, but it looked a little ‘undressed’ for the London rental market. RCI made some minor decorative improvements including painting the back of the bookcases either side of the fireplace, the stair case handrail and purchasing some new furniture and accessories. It was dressed to bring the new look together and to give the best chance of finding a tenant within the best possible timeframe.
The estate agents were impressed with the new styling. A new tenant was signed up and moved into the property within 2 weeks of it being marketed by the agent.
