Before: 2 Bed Refurbishment for rental or selling market
Background
The clients had purchased the property many years before and had since moved to France leaving one of their adult children living in the property as a short-term arrangement. The client’s were looking at the option of either renting the property out or selling it and wanted to bring the property up to date internally to maximise the rental price or it’s overall value.
Solution
Re-work the study room to the side of the master bedroom to be an en-suite bathroom. redesign and re-fit the downstairs shower room and the kitchen to bring them up to date. Work included using the back door entrance porch as a utility room and opening up the kitchen with a door to the side garden area. The property required re-decoration throughout to bring it up to date for today’s discerning buyers or tenants.
Result
RCI completed the refurbishment in a neutral colour scheme to attract the broadest market and advised on some new furniture purchases to complete the makeover. The clients were delighted with the transformation and are now considering the best options for this property, whether it is putting it on the market or renting out for longer-term capital growth.
